Based on recent data, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male individuals reaching 100 has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same years, the number of female individuals reaching 100 increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
